DIVISIONS:
The Music in Motion event is a Certified USATF event. In addition, it is serves as a race on three running club
race circuits:
Our age groups reflect the age group requirements of these
clubs as well as past participation of the Music in Motion event.
AWARDS:
Age group awards are given to both male and female, three
deep, in the following age groups:
10 and under
11-13
14-19
20-24
25-29
30-34
35-39
40-44
45-49
50-54
55-59
60-64
65-69
70-74
75 and over
NEW FOR 2008! WALKERS DIVISIONS! Awards
given to the first five finishers both male and female!
Age group awards are unique, wooden medallions that are
engraved with the Music in Motion logo.
The overall awards are nice billboard
trophies (see pictures!). There are four overall awards given:
Overall Male, Overall Female, Overall Masters Male, and Overall Masters
Female.
There is also a Scholastic Division!
The winning school is based on the number of participants (finishers) from
that school. It is not based on time, just how many cross that finish
line! This year, with the race moved to August 9th, all high school
and middle school cross-country students may participate! Come one, come
all!
